Silver is a type of currency in Black Desert Online that is used to buy and sell items, resources, and other goods with other players or NPC vendors. Silver can be obtained through a variety of methods, such as completing quests, defeating enemies, or participating in certain activities. With enough of silver in their virtual pocket, players will be ready to take Calpheon and Valencia by storm!
The importance of currency lies not only in the act of buying and trading certain items but also in the ability to use silver to hire workers. Players can spend a sum of silver ranging from 1,500 to 90,000 units to hire a worker when it comes to building a city. Certain NPCs can sell higher-tier workers as well, and you guessed it, they cost much more but work more efficiently.

You can view all your warehouse space in each town by clicking the different town names on the left side of the window, but you can only deposit and withdraw items/silver if you are at the correct storage keeper NPC for the town (unless you complete the Magnus questline).
Please be aware that Storage does not share across towns or cities (unless you complete the Magnus Questline) so you will need to go back to the same location where you stored your items or silver, in order to withdraw them again. Storage shares across all your characters.
After completing the Magnus questline, you will be able to move items from any warehouse location into your inventory. For example: if you are in currently using the storage at the Calpheon Storage Manager NPC, you can access the Heidel storage by using the dropdown menu on the side. You are also able to use storage maids to collect or deposit items and silver from any location.
You can exchange silver to turn them into gold bars using your warehouse. Gold Bars are required for certain uses but are not as important as they once were. You may also earn a Gold Bar from an event or quest reward and can exchange it at a storage keeper to turn it into silver.
Many know Black Desert Online is a harsh game, though it can be generous for anyone with spare time or dedication. One of the most precious resources in the game is silver. It's abundant enough, but the value is a little too low, so players will want to make sure they're raking in tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of silver every day. This is because silver pretty much dictates how well you can do in Black Desert Online's endgame, which is the gear upgrade roulette.
In order to get silver, players will need to be more creative or industrious with what the game allows. There are many methods of earning silver but only some of them are efficient and can yield the aforementioned results. Some of them involve hands-free AFK operations while others require more active player participation. Either way, there's a method for everyone here.
Updated On January 22, 2022, By William Quick: MMORPGs are games that require a lot of dedication and are designed to be almost endless. While Black Desert Online has a lot to do, it can be tricky to do all of them if you don't have enough silver. Luckily, there are plenty of ways you can make some.
This is an obvious entry with harder quests having a higher probability of yielding more silver or at least valuable loot that can be sold to merchants. The issue is that this is one of the slower methods so make sure you have the best gear tailored to whatever quest you decide to undertake.
This is by far the simplest borderline-free method of earning silver in the game. Players don't even need special equipment for it but a good fishing rod (Balenos Fishing Rod), a high fishing skill, and maybe costumes that give bonuses, as they can help a lot.
Players only need to find a fishing spot (it doesn't matter how much fish it gives) and start auto-fishing. They mostly need to be on the lookout for Ancient Relic Crystal Shards. These fetch a price on the Marketplace for several hundred silver each.
Trading requires a lot of setup and high life skills in order to get good returns, but once you've placed your investments, you'll never be poor again in Black Desert Online. Trading means going to the Trade Managers in the game, procuring whatever is in demand on their lists. They'll buy those, and you'll get tons of silver.
Games can include elements that feel a bit too real and investing is one of them. Even in a world full of magic and monsters, a very grounded if uninteresting way to make silver is by dealing with Investment Banks. This involves converting your coins into gold and then investing them with a bank to earn interest.
While this allows your gold to increase in value which can be turned in for a silver profit, it takes time and is better left to happen in the background. Also, keep in mind that you'll need to attain a high Housing reputation wherever the bank you want to invest in is located.
This one's rather risky and requires advanced player knowledge and foresight. Marketplace prices vary depending on player demand or item supply. Events such as those that give relics or black crystal shards tend to lower the prices of these things on the Marketplace.
What you can do is purchase them in bulk while the cost is low. After certain events that lowered their price are gone, their value will increase due to the lower supply. This is where players can make a profit. It will take more patience and discipline, but that's the key to earning silver in Black Desert Online.
Bartering is a relatively new addition to the money-making schemes in Black Desert Online, and it requires a sailboat at the very least. Those can be a chore to make and might even make millions of silver as well, but the returns are decent.
Farming is a tried and tested way to get a good and semi-effortless amount of black crystal shards, whether sharp or hard. Harvesting each plant or even cleaning them can yield these crystal shards from time to time. It can't be done AFK though.
There are many kinds of plants growing throughout Black Desert Online and you can pick as much as you can carry. After your pouches are full, you can put them towards activities like Alchemy or sell them to merchants for some easy silver.
This skill can yield some great results worth a fair amount of silver, but it can just as easily backfire. As such, you should reserve this method for fodder equipment or duplicates of gear you already have.
Like Alchemy, cooking is another life skill that can bring in tons of silver while also being a fun activity. Cooking also tends to be a low investment since the materials can be readily available from your worker empire.
If you want a more active way to earn silver with the highest silver-per-hour ratio, there isn't much that can beat killing enemies over and over again. Going to grinding spots and setting up a rotation (which is easy enough) and then sticking to that for a few hours can net hundreds of millions of silver.
While these monsters are no small potatoes, if you happen to be in the area and geared up, it's worth it to take it on. The risk will be worth your while for the silver and valuable gear these enemies are likely to drop.
Kill packs of monsters, farm at the most difficult and profitable spots. Demean your rivals in PvP by killing them in one lucky combo. It's all easily done with FunPay. Buy BDO silver on EU and US servers, and be always a step ahead of your opponent. The best equipment and consumables are already waiting for you.
Do you farm silver every day for your pleasure, but there is no space left to store it? Or do you take RMT seriously, and your clan holds several nodes? Anyway, you'll definitely want to put the surplus of in-game currency to use. You can offer BDO silver for sale on FunPay. Many customers, a competitive market, and 24/7 support will help you make real money easily, all while playing your favorite MMO.
Once you have placed silver into your Market Warehouse, you can purchase items from the Central Market. Open the Central Market by pressing ESC and selecting the Central Market icon, or go to a Marketplace Director NPC.
Simply click on the item you can to sell. You can see if someone has placed an order for your item on the right. If you accept the price they are offering, you can sell the item instantly and the silver will go straight to your Central Market Warehouse. If there is already a lot of stock for the item you are selling, you can also list the item for cheaper to try and get a quicker sale.
The marketplace has a 35% tax for sales and it is automatically taken when you receive the silver for your sale. This means you will receive 65% of the silver from your sales. If you are using a Value Pack, you will receive 84.5% of the total.
The Old Moon Trade Pass is similar to the Rich Merchant Ring in the way it gives a +5% Central Market silver collection. However, the buff is only valid for one transaction. 781b155fdc
